Senior Management Team

Dave Langford

Managing Director

I’m Dave, Managing Director at Blakely Scott. I started my career in recruitment straight out of University in 2008. Having previously worked at Director level for a larger organisation, I was really attracted to joining a smaller, more flexible organisation that’s not just passionate about its clients, but also its staff. I’m enthused when working collaboratively with clients to provide a long-term, sustainable talent solution. It has been a pleasure to work with our customers to help find great talent and establish their candidate experience journeys.

Yazmin Collins

I’m Yazmin and I’ve worked in recruitment since 2018. I joined Blakely Scott because I believe in quality over quantity when it comes to recruitment. With the challenges the Health & Social Care sector faces with candidate shortages, I decided to join an company passionate about making organisations stronger through ethical and relationship led recruitment. I work very closely with my clients to build excellent working relationships based upon honesty and full transparency, providing to all levels throughout a business. I pride myself on having a focused, passionate approach, delivering exactly what I say I will, whilst bringing enthusiasm to the working environment.

Committed to Change

Climate change is impacting human lives and health in a variety of ways. It threatens the essential ingredients of good health – clean air, safe drinking water, nutritious food supply and safe shelter – and has the potential to undermine decades of progress in global health. As part of the Health & Social Care community Blakely Scott are pledging 2 trees for every placement to help combat the Climate Crisis through Ecologi.

It’s now common knowledge that one of the best tools to tackle the climate crisis and keep our temperatures from rising above 1.5C is to plant trees. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) said that if the world wanted to limit the rise to 1.5C by 2050, an extra 1bn hectares (2.4bn acres) of trees would be needed. They are also crucial in preventing ecological collapse. Ecologi have a range of amazing tree planting partners who are able to responsibly plant millions of trees a month in countries worldwide.
